How was 2017 for you? Personally I think I think it’s a comme çi comme ça year for me. A standstill moment. In other words, I’ve hit a plateau. I am still waiting for my breakthrough.
I think one mistake people are doing is that when they hit a plateau, they stop and do nothing. I’ve been in that situation. I think the better thing to do is to pause and reflect on what you’re going to do next. In other words, you got find something else to do.
In spite of the flat line events of our lives, this situation calls for a proactive and prudent decision. Think of rut moments as being in the airport, waiting for our flight, and while we do so, we find something productive to do. It’s not being idle, staring at the starry sky.
However, I suggest that activities you choose are those that can make you a better person. I remember a Blogapalooza speaker named Carlo Ople quote from one of his favorite authors ( I forgot the author, my bad) that if you want to be good at something, you gotta spend 10,000 hours learning it.
Man, that is a tall order. I want to challenge myself next to do something better, and end as a more awesome version of myself, as How I Met Your Mother character Barney Stinson exudes awesomeness. Keep the faith everyone!
